    Exceptional

The room was very spacious and clean; hotel was in a great location, staff was friendly and very hospitable. The breakfast was served promptly and was very good. I discovered a very nice shopping area downtown with a car park, it would have been nice if the staff had told me about this as I may have gone there sooner, more information about local things would have been nice.

The street sign is written on a rock that is only visible when you are traveling in the opposite direction. We called the hotel but were not given real good directions and drove past it for about a half an hour being frustrated when we couldn't find it. I would suggest getting a larger sign and putting it by the corner or something eye catching to alert the guests where the hotel was. Another thing is that the building is old and was using skeleton keys which were harder to use. It would be nice if they could convert to keyed entry locks and give two per guests. My mother traveled with me and she was upset when we were only given one skeleton key so she talked to the manager and he gave her another although they were hard to use.

The location was great. It was near both the seaside, which turned out awesome during our stay because the weather was so good, and center city where the restaurants and other activities were within reasonable walking distance.

A little worn for wear, but very nice, we got an extra room to put our suitcases in which was a bonus so we weren't cramped.

The staff at Ocean Crest was especially helpful. We were there 2 days and the staff went out of there way to please their guests. My small suitcase was carried up to the attic level (I was hot and tired looking). A converter was offered to a guest who needed one and a large amount of coffee was brought to an elderly woman who craved it during breakfast.

WE REQUESTED AN EARLY BREAKFAST AND WERE INFORMED THAT THE EARLIEST TIME WAS 8.30AM. THE PEOPLE SERVING DID NOT TURN UP UNTIL ABOUT 8.40AM, SO WE HAD JUST TEA AND TOAST TO NOT DELAY ANY FURTHER.

    Superb

Very friendly staff and excellent location near the sea front and the town of Galway. Internet access in the room was very important.

    Good

The room was comfortable and clean. I found the location very good too. Very close to the main area of Galway City.

There was nothing I didnt like but it also wasnt exactly hugely impressive. It was a very standard B&B.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was lovely with a gorgeous view of the bay, we were made to feel really welcome and the city was only 15 minutes walk away! Perfect! Thanks again!

Great B&B in front of the ocean, the room and the bathroom were quite big and clean. Our room had a breathtaking view on the ocean's beach. The owner is a really kind person, he gave us valuables advices about where to go for dinner. At this price, you really can't ask for anything else.

    Fabulous

    Gorgeous rooms and beautiful location.

Not very kid-friendly. We stayed at many bed and breakfasts in Ireland with children and our children are very well-behaved and were enjoyed by most. However, we could tell the owner was very uncomfortable about having kids there.

    Fabulous

Good location, well ordered routine on arrival and other times.

Proprieter tried hard to give the impression of engaging with clients, used first names etc, asked questions but never stopped to listen to responses as had to dash off to the next task. So no dialogue was encouraged. All very professional, but not truly welcoming our presence seemed to be intrusive and never felt as at ease as other B&B in Ireland. Relatively late start for Breakfast at 8:30 would have liked the option to get away sooner. As a result everyone arrived at same time and with only one person serving and one cooking it all seemed rushed. Perhaps one or two part time staff to help out at peak times would help, perhaps extended breakfast times would help. That said Ocean Crest delivers "Bed & Breakfast" - but no more than that

    Very good

Room, although quite dated, was clean and quite roomy. Breakfast was good as was the location, only about a 15min walk into the town centre.

Could have used an extra couple of pillows for the bed, but that wasn't a huge deal.
